Corporate Workshops

Revolutionize the way you do business!

Most corporations understand the need to communicate with clear purpose and focused clarity. Few understand how to get there. They try different technologies, different channels, or different mechanisms for delivering their messages, both internally and externally. They work harder at focus groups, outbound messaging and information exchange. While the opportunities for exchanging information have grown exponentially the actual effectiveness of communication has suffered.

What is missing is a clear methodology for organizing information into focused and purposeful communication. DCW provides the tools and training necessary to help your organization communicate with focus, clarity, and power.

Since 1984, DCW has been training communicators, from every walk of life, to Prepare With Focus, Deliver With Clarity and Speak With Power! Our unique SCORRE™ system is the only tool of its kind and is the secret to Dynamic Communication. With the SCORRE™ system you will be able to communicate your message in the elevator or the boardroom. Whether teaching in a seminar setting, giving a keynote address or communicating business strategies your audience WILL LISTEN and, better still, they'll remember what you said and why it is important!

You will learn

  • The secret to creating THE MESSAGE your audience wants to hear
  • To communicate clearly in any situation - from the elevator to the Boardroom
  • To create presentations that make an impact
  • To generate productive sales calls, in person or over the phone
  • How to maximize limited preparation time
  • How you can widen your organizational sphere of influence through effective, focused communication
  • How to position yourself ahead of the competition and drive the language your potential customers will use to evaluate other vendors
  • How to come across your best on camera

Recent clients include

What does a seminar entail?

A sample two-day training seminar might include some or all of the following:

  1. A two hour session called SCORRE™. This is our foundational system of preparation. It is unique in that it forces a person to clarify and focus on the single objective of a presentation (written or spoken.) The SCORRE™ system is the only tool of its kind, and is one of the key differentiators that set DCW apart from other communication training seminars.
  2. A one hour practical session where each member of your team will prepare the "skeleton" of an actual speech using the SCORRE™ system. This is a very hands-on time with a great deal of personal interaction between DCW staff and your team.
  3. A three hour session called "Defining the Target." This interactive session focuses on the specific communication needs within your particular situation. We will focus on a single presentation or message, but you will end up with the tools to develop additional presentations in the future.
  4. A one and a half hour session called "Putting it Together." This session will focus on rounding out the speech with the importance of the right introduction and the right closing, as well as some of the physical dynamics of the actual presentation including gestures, eye contact, and the physical environment of the speech (i.e. the room, lighting, sound, PowerPoint etc.).
  5. A four hour session of actual speeches and critique. In this session individual members of your team will deliver a 5 minute presentation. The practice of actually giving the presentation will be extremely beneficial for the whole team. You may choose to have these speeches and critique video taped.
